Not sure why you cunts rated it so low. Excellent film and a masterclass in direction.
It was alright, but a lot of reused plot tools from the previous films (and I don't mean bits that had to be carried over because its the same series, stuff like the car crash chase bit and the 'evading the ambush' scene that was repayed just a few times too many).

I suppose I could rate it higher in the same way T2 was superior to T1 - Despite being essentially exactly the same film over again they managed to improve on the idea a whole lot.

Same as the last 2, very enjoyable. Rates below diehard as a standalone action flick.

The 'having to make contact with a member of the CIA while confounding everyone who knows full well it's about to go down' is now wearing severely thin after about 12 instances of basically the same setup across the 3 films.
Yea, the only thing that kinda ticked me off in the movie was part of one of those. When he's in the guy's office, and calls him just to let him know he's standing there ( "If you were here, we'd be having this talk face to face" ), that part got a lot of laughs in the theater. But I was just thinking, "Why did he do that?" That didn't help him in any way. If he hadn't made the call, he would have been able to run over to his final destination and find the guy he was looking for with a nice head start, without 4 truckloads of agents on his heels.

It only benefited his enemies.
hm good point

still, i give it an 8.5/10

Hm I dunno, it was basically the same as all the other four final battles. They end up all the same.

SPOILER:

Plus I think the director botched up Sirius' death. There was no drama, just "there he goes".

Shooter - 6/10

Competent military thriller, a bit predictable but otherwise well made. Nice visuals, not sure that I agree with the message though.

Sunshine - 7/10

Althogh it borrowed quite heavily from both 2001 and Event Horizon it was unique enough to be quite enjoyable IMO. It definitely had that special Danny Boyle style to it, especially in the music and the blurry/distorted shots. I do understand why some people hate it though, they were probably expecting something in the style of 'The Core', and were met with a much lower tempo and a lot more psychological undertones instead. I liked it though, some parts were very suggestive.

Haven't read the books and couldn't follow the film at all, the fuck is with the order of the phoenix characters? Didn't get who they were or where they came from. Plus it's extremely boring.

Pathfinder 4/10 Gratuitously bloody, almost comically so, and horribly predictable. Karl Urban was utterly flat and boring, and the way he ended up continuously finding one or two Vikings to pick off was so contrived it was embarrassing. I liked Mr. Krabs (Clancy Brown) as the Viking chief, but the only thing that saved this movie from being a complete turd was the Viking costumes and the locations. That and the Vikings trying to rape Karl Urban's indian girlfriend on a dead moose.

I almost ditched Pathfinder as well, fast-forwarded through a bunch of it. I caught Superbad yesterday afternoon, but I'd only give it a 7/10 at the most. Yeah, it was funny, but I think it tried a little too hard to be a sappy end-of-adolescence movie.

7 is a little low.

7.5-8, solid enough for it's brand of comedy

I think McLovin alone put the movie to an 8 for me.

Saw it Saturday.
The movie should have been set in some imaginary place.
Too many black haired, dark eyed vikings.

4/10 seems appropriate.

I liked Evan's caustic, offhand remarks to Seth.
Seth: "Dude, you are soo lucky you got to suck on those tits as a baby."
Evan: "Yeah, like the way you got to suck on your dad's dick." :olo:
It's Bill Murray-esque, all in the delivery.

Michael Cera is an absolute comedy genius. I don't know if you were a fan of Arrested Development but his character in the show is one of the best TV characters of all time.

OK, I’m just watching the latest 007 again. Nothing I’ve seen for action beats the opening sequence.

A Scanner Darkly - 8/10

I was pleasantly surprised. Almost made me want to check out the book, but after reading a little about it, it sounds like the movie was completely faithful to it, so I'm probably not missing much.

The Aristocrats - 5.5/10

I don't know why I expected anything out of this really. Don't get me wrong, it's a good concept and a good joke, and some parts were lol funny, but it didn't need to be so long. After a while it just feels like a bunch of comedians jerking each other off.

Oh yea...

Night Junkies - 6/10

I would have given it a 5, except for the gratuitous nudity. It was crap.
