joined a gym after a long time off, doing 5x5 Stronglifts to get back into it.

still repping 5x5 @ 225 bench and 280 deadlift. not bad for 160 lbs.

162 pounds and did 275 X 6 deadlifts yesterday. But these are romanian deadlifts so may be a bit easier.

Anyone got any tips on lower stomach muscle exercises?? The top of my stomach is fine and always feels like I have worked it hard, but the lower part feels untouched...

Lower abs is basically a lot of sitting/lying down and working your legs in the air, in and outs, scissors, just holding them there etc. I'm sure you can find some ideas on YouTube:

the relay was awesome, 201 miles split between 11 people in two groups. I ran my assigned legs of 7.6mi, 4.1mi, and 5.6mi. Not the longest ones ever but I never run that far. The second leg was the hardest because i was trying to make up some time and catch people (and did) but the road was soooo crappy and my lower legs were pretty wrecked after that (28:28 was the time for that one). I don't know what the time was for the other two but i know i smoked the 5.6. Can't wait to do another Ragnar Relay!! It was really awesome. Ran the whole thing in the five-fingers too, after the first leg i saw some blisters starting so i taped up and was fine after that. Also it's time for a new pair since i'm wearing through the rubber in the toe areas!
Here's a picture from when we were messin around at the finish area:

Excellent definition, nice bi's. Your traps need to catch up, do more shoulder presses and push presses, shrugs too.

nah traps are overrated. I personally avoid direct trap work as I like the natural looking neck-shoulder line.

thanks! :D

yea i do standing bar shoulder press and military press, but that limits the weight that i can do. i wish my gym had a seated military press rack. i also do dumbbell shoulder press and shrugs. those pics are from October, my traps got a bit better now.

meh, my feeling is that muscle groups like traps should be worked incidentally. For example, in a stabilizer capacity while doing deadlifts. Or as a supporting source of power in cleans and snatches...

how much you dipping these days toxic?
