Well, I genuinely gain no pleasure out of reading any such admission, though I kind of respect you for being honest.

Geoff does it to troll you. I'm not saying he succeeds, but it is what it is. Today in this thread, I did it because someone challenged my sanity for making a purchase, and I justified it. I don't think I should be reserved about things; I've never claimed to have any class. The other time I mentioned it today it was a dig at Geoff for the EXACT reason you outlined.

The other time you mentioned, I think you're being unfair. I don't think it's unreasonable to go into a photography thread I've made a lot of contributions to and announce that I'd just taken ownership of a new premises. The business doing well part was during a business discussion. So yeah, I think you're reaching a little bit.

I think comparing me to Geoff is slightly harsh, too. I mean, the guy is a proper dick; I don't think I'm that guy.

It's obvious that Huff has serious self esteem issues. I'm not sure why you're wasting your time addressing his negativity. You're successful and there is nothing wrong with being proud of it. Being able to step up when called to the carpet is all the more gratifying. Congrats and continued success.
