love the little bit of adrenaline you get going sometimes in hectic long battles. double jumping over a hell-knight's head to plug them with the supershotgun and then glory kill while they're stunned-- it's a blast.

Running buttery smooth on my gtx 970 on High w/ MSAA, it hasn't dropped below 60 fps once.

just replaying Doom 2 for first time in ages. for the new Doom they could have developed the puzzle element of the early 2½D game with a Portal-style aesthetic (i.e. simpler geometry, fewer polygons) with monsters, instead of the naturalistic approach they actually went with. that could have been fun

Audio only plays in 2.1 in this game, that's pretty fucking shitty.

There is a ghost mouse cursor clicking around on my second monitor when I play....it's minimized my game a couple times.

I'm really enjoying this game.
One thing I've noticed is that I have to turn off my second monitor when launching through Steam - if the second monitor is on glitchy things happen at at times it freezes during load. If launch with second monitor turned off then all smooth.

I ain't done with the campaign yet, but it's so fun killing things. I play through the original Doom and Quake like once a year, I can see myself playing through this one every so often as well.

My dual-770 doesn't break a sweat in 1440p, it's pretty well optimized.

Best surprise this year. I haven't experienced pure joy like I did with the long-distance glory kill upgrade, full power-up upgrades, and the berserk powerup. Rip and tear.

Interesting, I haven't noticed even the slightest FPS drop in huge firefights.
