Maybe you need to tweak the system or update the drivers. I didn't have problems with the intro on my 9700 Pro

We need to get a game going lads. :icon34:

Sorry fellas, go ahead without me for now.
Wife has dinner ready and I am still fucking with this shit about it not running smoothly (at least the intro movie diesn't...gameplay is fine...but no time for mp now.)
The intro video plays all jerky..i get about 2 seconds of sound, then it hitches and goes silent, then sound comes back, etc. Makes no sense, since it should just be like running pre-rendered video...
I wonder if it has something to do wtih my soundcard.

feck the intro video aslong as it runs fluid ingame.
Download the bink/rad video tool
http://www.radgametools.com/bnkmain.htm and watch the videos in yer dreamcatcher folder instead.

The videos don't play for shit in rad tools either...they freeze for seconds at a time while the sound skips. I think there must be an issue between the video file format they used and a driver with my system. I've tried both the soundblaster live card w/updated drivers and the on-board sound on my motherboard. Tried the newest beta drivers for my video card as well...no luck.
I wanted to get filled in on the backstory a bit.
Fuckity fuck fuck....I hate it when shit doesn't work like it is supposed to. I've wasted 3 hours on this damn thing. Obsessive am I.

Were you even involved in the game I didn't play in?
YOU'RE right though...I was hiding from reef and memph...
BTW - I tried 'uploading' my drivers, but couldn't find the 'upload driver' feature anywhere. I updated them though.

I've got a warez version so I dunno if you can run servers with cdkey checking disabled. I'd love to play with you guys if it's possible.

I was playing the demo and although my fps were high it seemed to freeze for a second sometimes esp in the biggening when I turned or entered a new arena. I had a similar problem with doom 3. Is this because of ram or what?
