Think of it more like a more action orientated diablo but in 3d and with less mouse cliking.

Its an MMO.. that CAN be a huge timesink if you really want "OMG FAT LOOTZ!" but if you just want to play a few hours and actually get somewhere, its a good MMO for that..

Correct, The kicker is, the only thing thats instanced is

Battlegrounds
Dungeons

Some of the dungeons are on timers, to prevent people from just running them 24/7 others are not..

Battlegrounds, well only reason i can think is so it dont kill the servers having 400vs400 matches in open realm area, and the dungeons well, if you ever played EQ and had named mobs camped, you would know why..

Everything else, like, the world, is NOT instanced at all..

Well first I'd like to note that the particular program I linked to is just one of a miriad of download managers. I find FlashGet very stable and mature however. That being said I believe their readme states that on certain configurations it's a bit tricky getting the 'plugin support' working for catching url clicks with internet explorer. With mozilla/firefox you need the flashgot extension which manages the clicks and feeds them to external download managers like flashget.

BUT, 99% of the time you should be able to grab files with any download manager the fail-safe way, which is to copy the download link to your file and paste it into the app itself. This works very well with flashget when other methods might fail.

EDIT: If you're going to try it this way, disable the url monitoring in flashget and just copy the url manually and paste it into the program.
