My opinion is that The Steelers are on a streak going into the playoffs, which is where you want to be. Seattle is not.
On the other hand the streaking team has to have a bad game at some point.
Steelers should win. I don't want them to. As a cowgirl fan I am now put into the position of having to root for Seattle

(Dec. 27, 2005) -- The most overused word in NFL talk this time of year? Momentum.
The idea that you need momentum going into the playoffs is talked about so much, and it's just not true.
We see it every single week in the NFL. Momentum, being sharp, staying in sync ... all the phrases you want to use. I just don't believe in it.
In 1990, the New York Giants did not have momentum going into the playoffs. We were not playing that well. After a 10-0 start to the season, we lost three of the final six regular-season games. But it didn't matter, as we ended up beating Buffalo in Super Bowl XXV a few weeks later. Such examples are numerous.
Who could have had more momentum than the San Diego Chargers after they knocked off the Indianapolis Colts two weeks ago? Then they go into Kansas City and lose a must-win game. So I think we should all realize that the NFL is a one-game season every week. It's about matchups and emotions. That's why we see tremendous swings during the season.
