True.

Would've liked to see a Dorian/Ronnie contest when they were both at their top.

I would've liked seeing Dorian lose the 94 Olympia when he was missing his left arm.

Just like I would have liked to see Ronnie lost the olympia when his bloated GH gut was protruding like hell.

But yea, after he tore that bicep he wasn't the same.

I'm assuming you mean he has never won the Olympia, as Marcus Ruhl has won countless bodybuilding competitions.
I'm talking about the big shows. Won the Night of Champions in 2002, the Toronto Pro in 2000, and I'm not counting amatuer shit.

Those were his only 2 wins from 1999-2004 in the pro ranks. Not countless. Dunno what he's won (if anything) from late 2004 to today.

But on the pro-circuits he hasn't won anything close to 'countless'. Unless you count trying hard as winning.
You should clarify your comments a little then. First you say he never wins, now you say he hasn't won much if you exclude all the competitions he wins. The big comps are always dominated by one or two guys who are in form. Ruhl is in the 'O' every year, and the only way to qualify is to be in the top 3 of certain big events. He may have come in a little soft this year, but don't discount him. Many of the greatest bodybuilders in the world have never won by your standards. Ruhl is a true freak and bodybuilding legend.

I don't need to clarify shit. Show me the countless competitions he's 'won' - don't redefine what it means to win. Winning is getting 1st place - and that's not just winning by my standards.
I didn't say Ruhl wasn't a freak - he is. But he's not a freak that wins much.

yea, shawn ray looked good in those days. Nasser really dropped off the face of the earth.
But Dorians back blew them all away. Ruhl is a big guy, but he doesn't have the complete package you need to win the O.

You do need to clarify a statement like "he never wins" when what you mean is "he never wins aside from all the years he spent as an amateur and not including the years from 2000 to 2002".

Take every single pro doing the rounds on the circuit today and for the last 5 years, minus any wins he won as an amateur, then don't count the years from 2000 to 2002 and tell me how many of them have regularly won the big shows. Absolutely none besides Ronnie Coleman. Even if you count the years 2000 to 2002 you'll get the same result.

It's the nature of bodybuilding. You can't discount any of the pros because they "don't regularly win the big shows". Especially when you provide such a small criteria for victory.

Apparently the forum resident fountain of tears Nightshade resigned from his prestigious role as rants and raves moderator because he wouldn't have time to moderate or post anymore due to devoting himself to his 'old man at university' studies.

As much as he tried, yet again he wasn't able to stay away. Sorry that didn't work out for you Nightshade. :olo:

Of course he takes steroids. All those massive bastards do.
As for the flexibility, he can probably do full splits. I've seen plenty of them that can.

Anything those guys do looks fucking bizarre. :olo:
Ever seen Tom "Quadzilla" Platz? There were shots of him doing a full split in a Joe Weider book I used to have.

This is him, not the best shot of his legs, they're tree trunks.
