and yes, their site looks like it was designed by (and for) 15 year olds. ...who play Counter Strike.

It's a cool looking keyboard. But there's no reason for it to have a solid metal plate. Or be able to withstand -40 to 70 degree temperatures. Or to no longer have a numpad. Or to have a glowing USB connector.

Maybe some of those useless features are the reason it costs so much.

And there are a few reviews on it, but mainly just from random forums, and not industry-recognized hardware sites.

Even if you bragged to your best friends about paying 120 bucks for a glowing keyboard, I would hope they'd rail on you for it too. So don't get all whiny because people are giving you a hard time; grow some skin.

I did check it out and I'm nowhere near impressed. Whether or not you work for them, most people here are not going to be interested in that keyboard. My opinion: It's too small for me, I don't even like straight keyboards to begin with, I don't need pimp lights on my keyboard, case, car or house, and lastly I'm not going to pay $100 for ANY keyboard.

i can understand the price, i on the other hand am not to be scared off by a Cnote. but ur automatically saying it sucks and you hardly researched it. i took me a few google hours to find the damn thing.

None of those reasons I listed need any kind of research.

edit: Where did I say it sucked? I said it's not anything that I want.

do you even play pc games? the numbered keypad is useless in FPS. i dont care if you flame me, but at least take a fing look. i dont think your grasping the concept they had in mind. its for gamers. not everyone may like it, but i will bet you its a better product than you give it credit for. the sturdier construction is for people carrying it to lan parties, i would imagine someone has dropped a keyboard and it broke. this one might not.
i'll let you know.

I've played FPS games since the original DooM. I use the numpad for binds, especially in team games. If you couldn't tell, I did look around a little bit about it, and found nothing worth mentioning, as I expected. Thanks.

HOURS? sorry, there nobodys.. if known retailers dont sell them (ie newegg, directron, ect), and you have to google for hours to find reviews from shitty forums, then they might as well NOT exist.. 100 bucks isnt a huge deal.. id pay that for a worthy keyboard.. but its not worthy.

most of us know our keyboards, i dont "stumble" for keys in any lighting.. noob

and some of us play MORE than fps games.. if FPS games were all there was, fine, but i LIKE my 10 key.. and i dont buy keyboards without one..

Sure you aren't a salesman. You just happened upon this forum and your first batch of posts were spamming this product then your next batch of posts were made defending it's inferiority.

btw, even when playing drunken Doom3 at LANs finding WASD isn't a problem.

I have an actual legitimate question. Can you give three good reasons for spending $100 on a keyboard that is backlit?

ok, first the parent company makes cop car computers. automatic reliability.
its smaller. moddable; different colors, exterior casings. its got lights. i think it beats any illuminated board out there. i looked.

I don't use WASD anyway. I've been able to find my way around my keyboard in the dark since the 80's. I do use my number pad for several things also.

Making the computers for cop cars means "i can build shit cheap!" Smaller usually means loss of keysize and overall agrevation when you are trying to hit a key and hit another.. and who gives a fuck about keybords that light up?

take your Sales pitch and stuff it up your ass.
