i think cantona kicking a fan was as a bit of a different circumstance.
the thing with zidane is that he's a fairly short fused player. zidane's done some pretty dirty stuff himself. he's done some shady shit when he was on juventus. and lets not forget his stomping on a player in 1998...

It's not bizarre, it's just that he hit him in the chest and that couldn't possibly have hurt that much. Fucking Italians.

aye, but he couldnt put in a goal (not from a penalty) in the 1st 75 minutes with both arms working and both legs full of fuel
cant see why it wouldve been different in the final 15 mins, . even tho he had that scorcher over the bar, italy also put in there fair share of chances and henry was also on the bench
italy scored every penalty and buffon was in goals, so i think italyt pretty much had it
like i said though, zidane is a fucking genius.... ended his career the same way he started it and carried his team to the world cup final as a dinosaur, you cant go much wrong
