I'm CAL west and central RA3 champion, and RA3 is the absolute pinnacle of quake 3. No camping, no spawns, no weapon advantage. It's mano y mano, even stevens, aim vs. aim, movement vs. movement, strategy vs. strategy. So shuck it, Trebek.
I've played the absolute 'best' CPMA and OSP players, and none of them were a challenge. I've seen the worst RA3 players beat the best OSP players flat out. Hell, back in the beginning Zero4 got spanked when he tried to hang, and Clan Kapitol got beat at quakecon by the NEWBIEST RA3 CLAN EVER, 'killers 4 hire', who are all absolute jokers. I mean, their best rail stat is like a 60%... On LAN for chrissakes. I get 60% on German servers FFS.
I haven't played that game or any other in a year, yet I guarantee I'd beat any of you clowns with handicap 50 on.
