they DONT have to live on res land, they DONT have to be drunken slobs, and they DONT have to be dicks for no reason..

However, every Indian Casino near me is run by Indians and they are all extremely successful. In fact, the state is begging them (and in some cases trying to make news laws forcing them) to share a piece of thier action, but they're just saying "fuck off".
Also, with the exception of a couple visits to Pine Ridge, I've rarely seen Indians living in run down trailers on trashed reservations. I'm not sure where all these pathetic, worthless people are that you keep meeting, but maybe it has to do with where you live and with whom you associate? I suppose all the other races in the same area are ultra-successful, despite having the exact same opportunities as the Indians?

yeah, all that stuff did happen a long time ago but it doesn't mean it still doesn't reverberate. Think about it, native people got more fucked than any other group of people in the world. Europeans show up, start to die, and only live because a bunch of natives show them HOW to live. How do people show their respect? By converting them and killing those who won't convert.

But Soap's dad runs, a casino. He knows everything; their must not be any other angles to this problem at all.

This is what happens when you destroy a people's culture and history. They are left ungrounded. You put any people, black, white, native american, asian, etc. in their place - do the same thing to them, and see what happens. You think it'd be different if the situation was reversed?
