Being married is actually pretty fucking great, it must be said. As long as you work on communication and make sure that the two of you have compatible goals with the rest of your lives, I think it's a pretty damned good idea. Besides, you can always cheat if you get bored with the sex. :icon14:

yeah marriage is great, but she sounds more interested in the wedding itself. Weddings are a shit load of work, and money. See how she feels in a fews months after the friends wedding stuff calms down, if she is still keen, go for it, pop the question then let her organise it all.

Jealousy. :olo:
What is there to be jealous of?
You live in Texas. Walk outside, take a look around, then go look up Australia on the internet. Case closed. Texas loses.

Women marry men believing they will change; Men marry women believing they will stay the same.

I know that's kinda trite but it really is the expectations that will kick it in the ass for you. If you can't accept her totally the way she is now, it won't be better when you get married.

Another old joke "how do you cure a nyphomaniac?" Marry her. All joking aside, eventually, there will be less sex. Most of the time, it's the woman that chills out quicker than the guy. The best remedy for that is to talk to her. It's unfortunate, but true, the more (geniune) attention you pay to her, the better the sex will be.

Best of luck.

ek, anything to put your relationship under stress over the past few years? Any situations that put stress directly on her? How she acts in those situations may make a world of difference man, they have for me. For better moreso than for worse, she's an angel (but she won't do anal! >:E )

I know I'm going to marry my gf, it's just a matter of timing and money. What we have is great, so I would be stupid not to.
Awesome, man! She's a gem I reckon, from the little time we spent talking.

put it this way, i train sometimes twice a day and my whole lifestyle is sometimes a fucking mess to be around with , yet she puts up with it and even helps me out sometimes. she is absolutely great, and i cant think of anyone better to spend the rest of my life with.

and wabbit, wtf are you talking about.

i am just asking if the relationship changes much when people get married. currently, we have a lot of fun, get along great, and can't get enough of each other both physically and mentally - shallow maybe, but fuck i am turned on when i see her as the first day i met her...

Just my own stuff then. If there's no small habits/things you wish she didn't do, then it's all good. It's the first time I've ever heard of someone liking everything about someone else though.

I was married a long time. There were some things at the end of the marriage that I knew I had been aware of at the beginning but kind of ignored. Don't get me wrong, I never thought "I can change him." I just didn't know those things would become such major issues.

My ex and I get along very well btw. I still think he's a nice guy. I just don't want to be married to him.

if there was something i didn't like about her, i wouldn't even be "dating" her, let alone wanting her to be my wife.

You can learn as much from failure as from success. Unless you're an idiot. Idiot.
