Usually pressing 0 will redirect you to a person, but Microsoft was crafty and just made it repeat the options...

I installed two 4" (120mm) AC fans in the cabinet Sunday night. One intake low by the receiver, one exhaust high by the 360. I wired them in series because they were just too loud in parallel or individually. They still move a significant amount of air and keep the cabinet MUCH cooler. I plugged them in to the switched outlet on the receiver so they automatically power up when it comes on. After playing BioShock for a 3 or so hours last night, the cabinet felt barely above ambient. I should have done this long ago.

Got my new one back on Sept. 6th (build 8/05/07). Just called it in to get repaired for 3 red lights...after a whole two weeks. The thing didn't even live two months; if the build date is actually when they finish the box.

My box sits out in the open and up off the ground/table.

This is bullshit...supposedly they will give it priority since it is a repeat repair.

You know, I find it odd how certain people go through so many 360's, while other people have no trouble at all. Even people who swap it over once, dont get it sent back after a short period...

It sounds a lot to me like some have you have zero clue about how to use a system like that. Its no secret that its built by niggers on $1 an hour wages who cant even see, but there are still rules you need to follow.

I was at my friends, who is on his 8th 360 (Yes, 8th), and I know why he's on his 8th too. The 360 had mags on top of it, he keeps his PSU stuck right behind the 360 where the airflow is, his Sub is on the top of the mags, he crosses his legs and puts them up right next to the 360, so its just aching to be knocked... And then, while ingame and loading on Dead Rising, he just ejected the disk, and before you could say "chickens with wibbly wobble weddings" he already put in Oblivion and losed it back up, forcing the 360 into some odd fit of rage where it took a lot longer to load than normal. He then turned it off when he get to the main menu and it told him it was loading content...

I don't claim to be perfect, but theres a reason my 360 is fine. Its because I treat it with respect, respect I would treat anything I've spent a few hundred quid on.

Just seems some of you with loads of issues think you can just do anything with it, and while you could with older systems like the PS1/2/xbox, you just cant with the 360 because we KNOW its not built that good.

So honestly, before some of you fucktards start screaming about how your 6th 360 only lasted 2 weeks, think about what YOU do to it, not just MS's shoddy workmanship.

On, and btw, a few... I'll call them "friends" but i use that loosly with these people... A few "friends" sent back 360's for repair for getting red lights. Not knowing that you can get a red light for just about anything on the system, for example, try turning your 360 on with no video cable. Why do you think MS are taking that feature out of future revisions? Its because morons see it, shit themself, and throw it in a box, not even thinking about what it could mean.
