umm, hacking the forum and stealing passwords?
Re: What happened to the sys0p thread?
more than once?
Re: What happened to the sys0p thread?
repeatedly, iirc.Big Kahuna Burger wrote:umm, hacking the forum and stealing passwords?
but people overlook that because the sheep love having someone to follow and the admins were nice enough to clean up after him.
Re: What happened to the sys0p thread?

Re: What happened to the sys0p thread?

Looks like you've had no bus to catch at all sementwat, you've been posting on this forum all weekend.

The thing is that we don't actually need sys0p here. The mere fact of his existence and whether or not we should acknowledge that generates so much drama and comedy already that we don't need his actual presence at all.
I'm still split between that being incredibly pathetic or incredibly awesome. It's either one though.

Which one of you interfags didn't understand what I said?

It's none of your goddamned business what he did.
He shouldn't be further immortalized by spinning yarns about his exploits for the years to come. This is not a democracy, you have no rights. I can't fathom why this discussion would even be taking place here, except that the admins slipped a little and someone let him on long enough for someone to notice, now they'd be "covering up" if they just hush the whole deal.

Re: What happened to the sys0p thread?
Well, based on the fact that I've deleted about three accounts of people (kracus, riddla and some other bozo) should be an indication that I'm unwilling to put up with drama anymore. I might be willing to give him another shot, but I'm unwilling to put up with the first indication of bullshit.Eraser wrote:The thing is that we don't actually need sys0p here. To be perfectly honest, the fact that so many people here have stuck so closely behind sys0p is the man reason I don't want to unban him. I blame his legacy and past behavior on the cult of personality he generates in people like feedbag as much as I do on him.

If you don't know why already, you haven't been paying attention very closely the last couple of years. I guess that's what it's like to be old, bald and living in a puke colored house.YourGrandpa wrote:Hello....

Re: What happened to the sys0p thread?
You never did have clean up after him... If people wanted him back because they wanted to give him a chance to make a fresh start or have a second chance is one thing, but if they want him back because he's funny, a reputation he earned at the excessive expense of others, then forget it.Nightshade wrote:Oh, I see, people have to be sheep, they can't just think he's funny?

I'm sorry, I don't keep a journal of everything that goes on here. But since you seem to do that, let me help you update yours. I'm 37 with a full head of hair and live in a blue house.
Maybe your fatasy world is inhibiting your ability to veiw a real world perspective.
I'd like to add, Dave is a fag.

Without people like ME, this place would have shut down long ago.creep wrote:It's none of your goddamned business what he did.

Re: What happened to the sys0p thread?
lol, ffs listen to yourself would you? First off, The fact that I never had to clean up after him (a pain in the ass, I'm sure) is totally irrelevant, I was addressing menkent's foolish post. Secondly, why are the two reasons you cite mutually exclusive? I can't want him to start posting here and also enjoy his sense of humor? And why are you assuming that if he's unbanned he'll instantly cause a ridiculous uprising and the internet will explode?Dave wrote:You never did have clean up after him... Look, at the end of the day, it makes no difference to me whether he posts here or not, but the place is more entertaining when he does. Stop being inter-drama queens (I'M LOOKING AT YOU DM) and unban him. If he tries anything stupid (which I HIGHLY doubt he will), ban him. Simple. No fuss no muss. Now if you don't mind I've got a bunch of raw chicken (lol, how apropos) in the sink that I've got to cook.
Re: What happened to the sys0p thread?
Is there some way to make automated daily backups of this message board, or at least some way to make backups that don't take much time to perform? The only language I know is English.
We (and by "we", I mean "you admins") could let sys0p back and just assume that the hackage of the interweb is inevitable. When our passwords get stolen, we can change them like we did last time. Anyone stupid enough to use 1 password for every login they have deserves any shit sys0p might cause them anyway. Well, within reason.
Then again, this would all take effort, and it would be easier to just say "fuck it" and stop thinking about it. I have the sneaking suspicion I'm putting too much thought into this.
As an aside, if one wanted to hack Q3W that badly, does one really need an active account to do so?

Re: What happened to the sys0p thread?
Amazing to think a message board can bring this out of people in their 30s isn't it?
I offer that not as an insult to anyone, just an observation.
