I love how you always try to say you said it but its always accompanied by a quote of someone else saying it. :olo:

What have you ever actually said that you didn't post after reading someone else saying it?
Like, tell us what you told the career councilor you wanted to do when you finished high school (thats assuming you did)
and were you thrown off the school paper staff for editorial plagerism... >:)

I predict a McCain win, after what appears to be a heated elekshun battle but is really a tightly orchestrated play.

Every single one of the 'serious' candidates is a vote to maintain the status quo, there is no real difference between them, only varying degreees of insanity. Their assurances about change mean absolutely nothing, you'd have to be goddamn crazy to believe anything they say. Your democracy is broken, we're all doomed.

my boy edwards wimped out before I got to vote for him so I had to toss hilly the nod.
all the republicans are bat-shit crazy, and obama is too busy talking about rainbows and teddy bears. I've seen > 5 debates + multiple speeches from the man and haven't heard one substantive thing come out of his mouth. Guy has a scary air of bush in a democratic suit.

while i'm not big on the idea of continuing this odd 2 family dynasty we've got going on... she's probably the best qualified of the surviving turd blossoms. (though i seriously have no idea where the hatred people carry for her comes from)

I wouldn't be surprised if McCain gives Giuliani the nod for VP.

I'm not in the least bit surprised that we will now have an election between a giant douche - who gives lip-service to minor changes in policy but supports the status quo and is largely supported by corporate donations - and a turd sandwich, who doesn't even pretend to want any kind of change, and is also supported by corporate donations.

What we need now is a national grassroots campaign to convince everyone to go to the voting booths in November, and write in "NONE OF THE ABOVE" on their ballots.

Otherwise our democracy will continue to become a less-and-less transparent sham, and we'll still be fucked in every area that really matters to anyone.

i told u morons last year since the giuliani thing prolly wasn't gonna pan out for them that hillary had already been selected as president...romney is the only other canidate besides her the real ppl in charge have control of and he doesn't have a chance...these nitwits can only throw elections by 10% here or there without it being completely obvious...so they will go with hillary...we will see a few domestic policies change to give the appearance of liberalism...very few...nothing meaningful......foreign policy will stay the same...hillary will continue to destroy r freedoms with executives orders here and there....then next president comes along and...

Canada awaits. :olo:

Seriously...America is over as a democracy and as a country people respect/admire. Why bother ignoring the obvious? None of you will make a difference as it relates to real change. It'll only get worse until the police state is fully enforced and all you'll do is just get angrier and angrier at the state of your country.

Give up and leave. It's the only chance left you have at happiness. :olo:

One and a half million U.S. households are preparing to move out of the U.S. The vast majority of émigrés are in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. And some may not ever return.

...

This news comes from a Zogby International poll of 115,000 Americans conducted over the past two years. Bob Adams, CEO of New Global Initiatives, commissioned the poll when he realized that no reliable database tracks the movement of Americans out of the country. A recent Barron's article, written by Bob Adams, breaks down the Zogby/New Global Initiatives data as follows:

· 1.6 million (U.S. households) have already made the decision to leave
· 1.8 million are seriously considering and likely to leave
· 7.7 million are somewhat serious about leaving and may do so
· 3.0 million are seriously considering purchase of non-U.S. property
· 10.0 million are somewhat serious about purchase of non-U.S. property
