15 years ago I bought a Lionel Ritchie Best Of because "Hello" was on it....still have it and now and then even put it on.
Same goes for other kitschy melancholic stuff like Mick Jagger "Angel in my heart" or Neil Diamond "Love on the rocks"... :paranoid:

On the other hand there's much worse stuff like for example Roxette, whose first album ("The Look") which i also own (but haven't touched since at least a decade). :D

mike oldfield is a great musician but tends to go from sublime to awful in a heartbeat - like the "caveman" bit in tubular bells.

Oh, I've got another one: Rainbow's greatest hits. P.s. George Michael and lionel ritchie are pop genii

INXS - The Years 1979-1997
M People - Bizarre Fruit II
Toploader - Onkas Big Moka
Limp Bizkit - Significant Other
I still love them all.

And a few albums I own, have grown to dislike, and have no idea why I still own them:
Deftones - White Pony
Weezer - Blue Album
No really, they're terrible.

There's also some of albums I love and aren't really embarrased to own, but I wouldn't play in company:
Judgement night soundtrack
Innocence mission - Befriended
Magnetic Fields - 69 love songs

Little Miss Can't Be Wrong always gets me singing (and playing if my guitar is nearby - very fun song to play)
Hey Jealousy - Gin Blossoms
Blue - Eiffel (I can't help it :owned: )

Also see my list here: http://www.quake3world.com/forum/viewto ... =1&t=33729 :)

I like Significant Other by Limp Bizkit too...

I was at work yesterday as a matter of fact when Billy Joel came on the radio and I commented on how I'm a big fan.... This girl looked at me like I was nuts.

The Traveling Wilburys.

Most of Nas's albums...

No shame in liking Blondie, even if it is a compilation album.

im partial to early 90s one hit wonders, and overly slick produced shit like the spice girls and backstreet boys tracks. not the ballads, obviously. fuck that.

I find some of Pink's songs enjoyable to listen to. But mostly because of their tongue in cheek kind of humour.

Oh and I do like a number of Marco Borsato's songs, from his John Ewbank days. That probably only says something to dutchos I think. I have to admit that I went to one of his Symphonica in Rosso concerts. I must say that his band, especially in combination with the orchestra, is just flatout awesome. But now that Borsato and Ewbank stopped working together, and Ewbank's name suddenly pops up next to 3rd rate artists, all of them sound like Borsato.

Hehe you're right Eraser, I was thinking very hard about international artists, but the only artist I shamefully like is Marco Barsota Symphony in Red lol
