I thought you was out doing some fishing at the pond and came across a gang of pond cats. Cause cats love water. Anyways, your cat swam every day to build its cat deltoids and began regulating on the other pussies. Then you was out at the pond one day scouting for your cat fighting ring. You saw the bulldozer and just had to sign him a fat contract.
That's the story as I understood it...

Re: I'm left wondering...with the increasing pit bull bans
Pitbulls are only bad dogs if they are misteated... like any OTHER fucking dog. My parents have a pitbull and that this is the most pathetic whimpy dog ever. She likes to sit on your lap and get her belly scratched.
When we first got her, I had been long moved out, she wouldn't let me pet her when I came over. She was terrified of me. She would try to nip my hand if I tried to pet her... but my brother had adopted her. So we weren't positive where she came from. He thinks she used to live with a bunch of abusive Spanish chick in NJ (I don't know where he got that from).
The dog is still a little weary of teen girls but Jesus Christ I go to the house and carry her around like a cat.
Because of all these bullshit ideas my parents feel the need to refer to her as an "American Stratford Terrier" so people don't hear 'pitbull' and bug out.

aww... she looks like this, just darker tan. And I had to flip through 4 pages of google images to find on not snarling or in a muzzle.

Your parents are idiots. That IS an American Staffordshire Terrier.

I don't know what that is, but it's not a pitbull.

I'm pretty sure that's an American Staffordshire Terrier, I used to own one. They look very similar to pits, but they're a bit smaller with a slimmer build.Peenyuh wrote:Yes. It is.

Cool. They do look alike...'cept the tail. Don't most people cut the tail on pits, or is that natural?

Most of the pits I've seen don't have docked tails. You must be thinking of Mexican Peetbools.

Just so, you know, we're clear on everything:
AST:

Pit:

Nala, anyways, doesn't have her tail cut or ears cropped. She was a red-nosed pit when we got her as a puppy and she is a pit now.

That looks like a fairly large example of an AmStaff, mine looked almost exactly like this, except she was black and white.vileliquid1026 wrote:Just so, you know, we're clear on everything:

When held side by side, the differances are quite appearant. The shape of the skull can be seen and the way they hold themselves is obvious.
