I think analogue acceleration works just fine.

The other cars had 4 wins, totaled 3 or 4 times. Since there are no tuning options in this game that I've seen, what are the real differences between two different versions of the exact same car going to be?
this has been bothering me too. unless i find a car with 30+ wins and 0 totals i'll usually buy new. whether or not there's any difference i have yet to know for sure. i bought a lemans car used with good standings and my garage chick did he obligatory "nice choice." it was fast through turns and i could easily overtake the AI but on the long stretches the opponents exact same car would start to catch up to me even if they weren't drafting on me.

another time i bought a muscle car with a lot of wins but 3 totals. the chick said "are you serious?" or something to that affect. the car shifted like shit and was hard to accelerate. i had to keep that bitch bouncing off the rev limiter around turns so that i could exit and shift into a decent gear.

the only thing about these experiences though is that i based these assumptions on how the AI handled with the exact same car in the race. i never bothered to go back and sell the car to try out a new one :smirk:

Just tapping the brakes and gas in corners works for me.
ew.

Yeah ew, I know, blasphemy etc.
It is arcade, though.
And since people keep complaining about having trouble keeping their shit under control, I thought I'd just throw out there how I own this way :p

Ditto!

GTR2 was a pain in the ass with a keyboard. I don't have trouble owning fag0ts online with keyboard in GRID :ninja:
