Blizzard will have an Auction House for D3 where you'll be able to buy and sell items collected in the game. Sound cool.

...with real money

Real money or in-game gold.
Why is this not cool? If I find a rare item and sell it for a couple hundred bucks, that's not cool? It's not like they're forcing you to participate with this...

				A couple hundred bucks.

The down side is, in order to prevent the auction house from being flooded with the best stuff, the drop rates will probably have to be lowered. So those people who don't participate will have to put in a lot more time for the same reward.

Wouldn't suprise me if they prevent certain items from being sold, like the very best items. Allowing them to be traded but not put up on the auction house.

There's no logical reason to place restrictions like that.
Here's a pretty savvy article on the potential impact of a RL currency AH:

Blizzard will make their money from Diablo 3 off of the RMAH, should be no need to charge monthly.

Whoever creates these cinematics for Blizzard should really consider making full length films for them. So awesome.

I disagree. They have always been ahead of the curve where detail is concerned, but the animations in the cinemas always shows how little motion capture they use. Stiff and floaty, all at the same time, and it's consistent since the cinematics first started with the old WarCraft games.
