True, but at this point it seems (unconfirmed by independent sources though) that Russia has invaded Georgian areas outside of Abkhazia and Southern Ossetia, Georgians report that they are setting up to defend Tbilisi. Knowing first-hand how the Russians do things, I wouldn't be surprised if by the end of the month, Georgia has voted to join Mother Russia, much like Hitler was allowed to take Austria.

The US and Europe and scared shitless of what will happen if Russia decides to cut off supplies of gas and oil, so they might just write Georgia into the history books.

Not that Horka isn't a moron, but it does take several days for alcohol to get completely out of your system. Oh hey look...on CNN.com...there's 4 articles crying for the Georgians (poo pooing the Russians) mixed in with several articles complaining about the Olympic non-events in China (the media has effectively turned this Olympic Games into a discussion about China and not about the athletes) and a full-page article on Topps-brand sticker series of product parodies.
