thanks for your help, and I follow all the steps.

but I can not begin with the reason that I said above, my router does not appear in the list of FP, my router is U.S. Robotics 9105.

If you follow this; you shouldn't need to run PFconfig.

http://portforward.com/english/routers/ ... holink.htm

i hope.

Make the service called "Quake31" external port start "27950 external port end "27965" internal port start "27950" internal port end "27960" protocol "TCP"

and another one

Make the service called "Quake32" external port start "27950 external port end "27965" internal port start "27950" internal port end "27960" protocol "UDP"

but i'm not an expert on your specif router, trying wont harm nothing, might need to save and reboot your router afterwards.

so you booted up your server. (ran the .bat file)

got a friend to connect to it (http://www.ipchicken.com) [get ip tell friend /connect xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:27960] assuming you have friends.

and he can't connect?

just because you can't see it working, doesn't mean it's not working.

If you really want a server going. like really really. check out http://www.ebay.com and look at a really cheap router, or head down to a compter/electrical shop, and make sure you buy a cheap one thats on the list. :p

but that's only if your really desperate, and have the cash to back it up.

If not, then it's going to be hard for your to have a home server.

sorry i couldn't be of most assistance.

32 bots parsed
36 arenas parsed
AAS initialized.

Hitch warning: 6196534 msec frame time
Hitch warning: 1150 msec frame time
Hitch warning: 5018 msec frame time

Nothing, really. Hitch warnings are usually safe to ignore.

if you run a dedicated server from the machine u wanna connect on or another machine on your network it'll always showup in local instead of internet for you, only others will see it on the net list, n the reason no1 can connect 2 u is cause your router wont be letting them, its easy enuf 2 change that but i dno wot your router is so i cnt explain, 2 be honest the dedicated server that u can make in quake is abit dry and doesnt have alot of features, what point release are you running? check in your console then go2 http://www.noghost.net and get the client files that match, noghost is a really good dedicated server tool for quake and has loads of features, if u need help setting it up just email me and ill take u thru it step by step, i used 2 host clan servers for 1.16 and 1.32 and ive used it for years
