You are morons for not realising that "nones" sounds exactly the same as "nuns", which is why it's stupid to call them that.

Seriously though it does sound stupid and it would be more intelligent to actualy use the words that define the beleifs if they're going to put a "none" option there. Or at the very least, "none of the above"
I don't care what the form or questionaire said, I was talking about the article and this thread, both of which said "nones".

And fuck off Duumbrain.

ffs Kracus, how dense are you?

the thing is that most people don't know or don't even care about how to label their beliefs (or lack thereof), therefore they selected "none" when asked "Which is your religious identity?".

EDIT: why do I care, this thread is so thick with stupid

Yeah I got that captain obvious. What I'm talking about it is the assumption that's made that people are too fucking stupid to know what the name is of their particular beleif or lack thereof is. All I'm saying, is that calling atheists, agnostics and every other beleif form that's not on that list nones is stupid. It's the dumbing down I have a problem with, obviously since you're getting your panties in a bunch the stupid version is what makes you feel safe inside so I'll back away now and leave you to it. So next time someone asks which religion you beleive in, you can awnser "nones" like a complete fucking moron.

These are the alternatives (bottom of page):

As atheism isn't a religion, I don't see why it should be included in a question regarding someone's religious identity.

Yeah those are fine, the way the headline reads though it sounds like the option was none.

I'd still like an atheism option though, I just think they didn't inlcude it because, as I mentioned eariler, it's probably a stigma attatched with the name.

What I find amusing is how people that dont believe in GOD go out of there way to find anything stating that others agree with them as if to point out that they are REALLY not sure in the first place. I guess it makes the non-believer feel comforted that others agree with them, is that the faith of the Atheist? Non Belief Safety in numbers? :ducky:
