Ovechkin and Crosby put on a clinic tonight, both net hat-tricks in a thrilling matchup but Washington comes through with the win and a 2-0 series lead.

And enough can't be said about the play of Hiller and Varlamov, they've both been brilliant in the playoffs.

lol

That's now 2 teams that thought they just had to show up and win...Vancouver and Boston...and they failed horribly. Both teams played all their games like they had an 8 goal lead. Retards.

Bye bye dumb fagg0ts. :olo:

Detroit beat Anaheim 4-3. It was a fantastic game with a terrible end as Cleary's goal should not have been allowed. Quite possibly the last playoff game for Teemu :(

Scott Niedermayer too.

2 for 2

Now with Anaheim out of the picture, we may very well see a repeat of last year's finals with Detroit once again beating Pittsburgh for the Cup.

Detroit and Pittsburgh are just walking all over their opponents. Most lopsided conference final series ever.

Sergei's probably played his last NHL game. He's close to signing a 2-year deal with Magnitogorsk in the KHL to join his brother Fedor.

yeah it's dissappointing to see a great hockey team like the wings annhiliate the competition because they're fucking unbelievably good.

#1. Henrik Zetterberg
#2. Pavel Datsyuk
#3. Marion Hossa
#4. Johan Franzen
#5. Nick Lidstrom

+ 10 other potential hall of famers..not mentioned...

I'd be bummed too.. :olo:

And give all the momentum back to Detroit with an embarrassing 5-0 rout. Well done Pens, all you had to do was show up and win one on the road. It's pretty much over now.

The Pens have shown over and over again that they won't actually play the game unless they have the lead.
It seems to be the only time they want to win.
