fyi tnf, be careful with prefab solutions , depending on how popular they are, they tempt to be hacked which will create a problem for you. Make sure they have good support with whatever solution you may end up going for.
Custom made solutions don't have the issue as of right now unless of course you're coding for a high tree that catches alot of wind...

Good point Tsakali, will definitely keep that in mind when deciding on a layout. Don't know if I will do any business transactions through the site directly - but there will be password protected client viewing pages for their own galleries so they can choose shots they want to order. And anything that minimizes the risk of someone fucking with the page is a good thing.
And I hope that doesn't seem too pretentious.
