Looks like this behavior is to become par for the course:
Capcom Selling "Asura's Wrath" True Ending as DLC

I was hearing good things about that game and was starting to get interested, but that kind of behaviour has just lost them a sale.
Of course, I'm not really surprised that it's someone like Ubisoft who pioneers such reprehensible behaviour and someone like Capcom who takes it to the next level of stupidity given their past records, but it's still incredibly worrying.

and here's another one.

Borderlands 2 dev already detailing post release DLC...pre-release.

k well, it's different... it's not supposed to be an integral part of the main game or the storyline. But people still bitch about premeditated DLC's.
But you can't expect them to create twice the content you're used to paying for the same price. they'll either have to raise the price of the game, or use DLC's in order to have a proper ROI. Aren't AAA titles getting bigger and better, in scope? Something has to give.
So we either accept the fact that our increasing expectations take more effort, that we have to pay for, or we'll have to be ok with the fact that nobody is raising the bar to the next level... or content with DLC's as part of the changing gamefield in the industry...which simply gives each individual the choice of how much entertainment they're willing to pay for.

***Potential spoilers***

Ok so I have done quite a bit more of the game now and I must be nearing the end. I have done quite a few things within the game, though I can't seem to find my last "long weapon" as it were so I am stuck on 21 out of 22 weapons purchased.
Upgraded everything else and I am making a mint from my mansion etc.
Just done the fort defence in Foreli, been stabbed etc etc and I don't have much left in the way of memory sequences left (on 13 atm) I don't think.

Can't be arse to find all 100 feathers, though I say that now I might just get a map off the interwebs and find them that way (done 27 so far)

Fantastic game; really enjoyed it. 10 times the game the first one was. Looking forward to starting brotherhood once I have clocked this one.

Finished the game, got 900G on the game and not sure if I can be arse with the feather finding etc to get an acheivement for it.

Excellent game, really really suprised with how much better this was than the first. Gonna break out Brotherhood this evening in an attempt to keep myself occupied and distracted from going out on the razzle dazzle. Expect the Assassins Creed Brotherhood thread to be resurected soon :D

PS - I think this might have actually been better than Batman - Arkham City

Not too sure about that. Arkham City has far more diversity. AC games get a bit long winded after a while. The stort in arkham city is a bit fragmented because of all the stuff that sidetracks you though, but overall I'd say I prefer batman
