Been re-watching season 1 with the missus in preparation the last 2 weeks, bring it on

spoiler alert: almost everybody dies, and the final shot is of the wind whistling over a field of corpses stretching to the horizon, with tyrion lannister in the middle pissing on one of them and wondering out loud where the nearest tavern/whorehouse is

well, i picked up 'a dance with dragons' in a bookstore, read the blurb on the back cover and discovered that snape kills dumbledore

and by snape i mean tyrion lannister, and by dumbledore i mean that other guy, the one you already know if you've read the book

Just started watching season 1. Put it off for some reason.
Gotta love the white haired stunner, Peter Dinklage's cunning impage, the incest, the heartbreaking killing of brave wolves, all the doggy style fucking, the general intrigue.
Even the show's maquette intro is fucking boss, usually skip intros, but not in this case.

Hope the pic xeros posted isn't foreboding Sean Bean's untimely exit from the series, because he's quite excellent in this as king's hand.
(I'm only on S01E06, so mebbe that will already play out in this season's next 4 eps. Didn't read you guys' probably spoiler drenched posts in this thread.)

I see season 2 starts tomorrow.
