So far this is the pricing news:

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/doom-3- ... on-1322219
Doom 3 BFG Edition PS3 - £19.37 @ Amazon. Cheapest I have seen this so far, cracking price for this and unfortunately it is PS3 only although PC is £13.99. XBox 360 is £24.99.

It'll be a few weeks and it will be £10
If you can activate it on Steam I will be all over it at £10 as I don't have any of the Doom games on Steam...plus I never really played Doom 3 properly

Bit annoying that it says they're only doing it in 3D for the consoles. Why not for PC too? Don't they know I own a 3D monitor. :miffed:

I'm pretty sure the PC will do 3D just fine. At least, via the headset support.

Word is its shit and ya better off modding the old version. Poor sound, too bright, crazy random multiplayer support etc etc... Poor id, they just can't seem to get stuff right anymore...

That is a shame. Seems like id can't do anything right these days. There is a small error in the article though, as the original Doom 3 did have multiplayer deathmatch for 2 - 4 players. I wonder why the PC versions of Doom and Doom 2 don't have multiplayer, as the games had that in their original incarnations, right? Or was that only via IPX networks?

Well seems like if you pre-order it from Game or Gamestation in the UK you get a copy of Rage for free! It'll be £10 after Christmas so I will snag it then given I don't have it on any platform
