The Manager at Insurance company believes the report of the adjudicator called me this afternoon and I was obviously not impressed, read distressed! I did apologise x 2.

I asked could he live with such an installation, looking at it for years to come. He didn't reply but I think not.

I suggested he reconsider his decision and call me gain tomorrow.

I have another carpet company attending here Saturday to quote to fix the mess or do a complete re-install as we cannot live with this offering

I suppose I then sue them for the $$?

Moral: Be very suspicious in dealing with carpet replacement under 'new for old' insurance agreements, as you don't (literally) pay for the job, if you have a problem such as this you have to convince the Insurance company there is indeed a problem..... and I thought a picture told a thousand words
