I do hope not.

Gawd, am I thinking legal directions, then perhaps one of the local TV stations might be interested in running a story?

jesus, you really are old.
Tonight at 10, old guy whines about sub-par carpet install! I'd make some snide remark about how life must be pretty boring in your hemisphere, but it sounds far too much like something that would run on the local news here - fully sensationalized to make it sound like a mexican al-qaeda plot to Destroy Our Freedom.

Just murder all of them. And their little kiddies too. It's what Anakin would have done.

Near :tear: :tear: when I read that

Update: Still waiting for the independent adjudicator to decide :smirk:
Oh, and by the way, the carpet supplier expert came back, and believe it or not can't see the problem >:(
He wrote in the report "......Customer concerns are of a visual colour difference at the point of join,... not a texture variation...." ?
  • Am I blind?
    Are you all blind?
Is everyone but those that are guilty (no that's unfair at this point so I will delete it)... of the crime, blind?
Send positive vibes/karma my way as methinks it is called for here.

The Manager at Insurance company believes the report of the adjudicator :smirk: called me this afternoon and I was obviously not impressed, read distressed! I did apologise x 2.

I asked could he live with such an installation, looking at it for years to come. He didn't reply but I think not.

I suggested he reconsider his decision and call me gain tomorrow.

I have another carpet company attending here Saturday to quote to fix the mess or do a complete re-install as we cannot live with this offering >:(

I suppose I then sue them for the $$?

Moral: Be very suspicious in dealing with carpet replacement under 'new for old' insurance agreements, as you don't (literally) pay for the job, if you have a problem such as this you have to convince the Insurance company there is indeed a problem..... and I thought a picture told a thousand words :smirk:

Yes plan to do, no doubt at all.
I am waiting for their (Insurance Co) final call...
Gave the Manager an earful yesterday, but apologized once or twice...
Still waiting...

Today, my neighbour was getting his carpets cleaned so I took an opportunity to ask what they see. Guess what? He sees as per photos. A join of two different pieces of carpet :smirk:

No surprise I'm afraid. I think his comment was atrocious work.... Waits...
