Sooooo sick of this boring shit with Andrea and The Governor. So contrived, so obvious...this show is giving me less and less to like about it. Have to admit the "Glen's an uber-badass" bit was enjoyable, but those things seem to be fewer and farther between these days.

Have any of you replayed it once or twice? How dramatically can you change the story? It seems like it could be way different by the end.

the aspect that's bugged me about this show from the start is the lack of curiosity on the part of all the characters about what's going on in the rest of the world. everyone's wrapped up in their own little drama. i don't even recall anyone wondering how everything could go to shit in a matter of a few weeks. they just seemed to roll with it

It's been a while... But I thought they did have hopes/curiosity before the CDC guy shattered it by explaining the situation.

I think the bite just gets infected rapidly and that's what kills you. I mean its a dead thing with a mouth full of other people's guts and blood. It would explain why removing the limb fast enough can save you.

Or it's dormant in humans until we die and being bitten transfers the active version directly into your body where it takes over.

Tomorrow season 3 continues after the mid season break.

The bite doesn't cause them to turn, it causes a serious infection which kills people quickly. The people then turn from the virus that's been dormant until they've died (from the infection).

I still like the show but it's getting really hard to stay connected with any characters. Rick is turning into a looney asshole, apparently losing the two most bad ass characters, lost the whole new crew, Asian kid and his gf are being all emo, and that fucking baby.

I was actually way more interested/pumped about the full length version of BSG: Blood & Chrome airing on TV.

I like the show but these extended gun battles are tedious and need to be trimmed down. It's patently retarded how they keep shooting at and missing regular people (especially regular people shooting back at them) when they fire 50 rounds at each other and rarely - if ever - hit their target. Yet when it comes to zombies they can pull off head shots and put their target down in less than a second no prob...even from a moving, bouncing vehicle. This show has had a history of retarded gun fights and shit like that pulls me right out and kills all tension.
