So it turns out my 15 year old Sony headphones are dying. Who'd have guessed.

I'm really wondering if any of you have used the Sony MDR-V6 or MDR-V600 in the past and can offer any comparisons to the ones listed in this thread? To be honest, I've been very happy with them but they're really all I know since I bought them back in the late 90's I think. Not sure how they compare to the ones today.

I might just buy another set of these (well, V6 instead of the V600) since they've been good to me and to last over a decade is some awesome build quality. They're also cheap on Amazon at $50.

I'd get Sony MDR-7506 ($87) or Shure SRH-840 ($130) in that price range.

So the right hand earphone has lost volume on my set of UE 350vi's. I emailed Logitech and explained the situation and they asked me to do a few tests. Completed as instructed and the issue remains.

Got an email today telling me a set of UE 400vi's are on there way to me and should be with me by the end of the week. Excellent customer service.

I'll let you know how they compare with my 350vi's (as I know you are all super interested ;)

Check out the Westone 3. Best earphone I've ever heard (I've had the Shure E4c and Westone 4, properly amped).
