I've made people realize how physical a racing car is (not to mention a F1 with it's massive downforce) by taking them to the go kart track. Either they put around 10 seconds slower than everyone else or they actually get some decent lap times in and are tired as hell after only 8 minutes. The first few times I did it my arms cramped up from death gripping the wheel.
After getting tired doing 8 minutes at 35 mph max in a little kart it's hard to say that the guys pulling as high as 4-5gs for an hour and a half aren't working hard.

I live in Sydney because it's the gay capital, not Melbourne. And funnily enough I just got back from doing a bit of tanning in the park.

@andrewbensonf1: Robert Kubica is competing in Euro Rally Champ this year. First day of first round yesterday. Eight stages. Kubica won them all

Good for him. Still won't ever drive F1 again.
Don't take that as me dissing him, he was definitely one of the big newcomers to F1 and I wanted to see him win big in a top team. It just a bummer that he had that crash.
Qualy soon, tho I think I'll be asleep for it.

Same, when Webber left him the space I was hoping he'd close the gap and take the twat out, but i'll cut my nose off to spite my face
He gave 2 different stories to sky and the BBC n all, to sky it was something like 'I never heard the call', then to the BBC he said he heard it but decided to ignore it (or misunderstood depending on what spin you're giving it). Might have had a bit more respect for him if he towed the 'i'm a pedigree racing driver on heat' line but meh, he needs to take a look at himself and Prosts career to figure out why he's going down the wrong road if he wants to be remembered as one of the greats. Really hoping this hasn't caused trouble for Webbers position at Red Bull.
lol @ Hamilton forgetting his team, seems to be having the early season teething problems Shuey was getting last season and I thought Rosberg was pretty class despite whinging like a whore (not a huge fan of his). Shame Kimi couldn't get further up the field and capitilise on his points tally from last weekend but glad to see Grosjean showing some pace, I thought last year turned into a bit of a witch hunt considering the actions of Maldonado and Kobayashi through the course of the season.
Massa should get threatened with the sack more often n all
Not been impressed with Perez for a long time too, Button can't hold a team on his own IMO (he's earned the knickname 'no grip' in the paddock).

Rosberg got assfucked on that. So what if his hothead teamate wasted all his fuel playing superman earlier on? how is that a good reason to not let Rosberg pass?
"Hamilton is also being instructed"...that reasoning was no reasoning at all! he is instructed because the moron used up all his fuel... rosberg was good to go. If any team order had to be given, it should've been to tell that moron hami to let Rosberg pass without a fight.
lol@ the end of the race... Mercedes team over the radio "good race Rosberg, today you showed what you are capable of" ...lol , yeah he is capable of taking it up the ass, no questions asked
ps
also, fuck Vettel, what a fucking primadonna, apparently the ways of the world don't apply to him.

lol you're locked in a paradox
On one side we have Mercedes following team orders so that both cars don't end up racing themselves out of fuel (Merc fueled short having started on intermediates) and on the other side we have Vettel disobeying team orders so that both cars don't end up racing themselves out of tyres.
Are you your own grandad ?, or mebbe you just hate nig nogs

I thought Ham. was the only one with the fuel issues, not rosberg. if they both were running low, then fair play.

I know they both had to save fuel, but to be fair I think Rosberg had more than Hamilton hence him wanting to gun for the Red Bulls. He's also said that he 'needed to save fuel towards the end, but nothing out of the ordinary', but doesn't say that he needed to do this despite being 'held up' by a fuel saving Hamilton for a decent portion of the race.
He had an order to maintain position for those reasons though along with the tyres and Brawn said over the team radio 'you're both in the same situation, Hamilton could go faster if he wanted' or words to that effect. Merc were only thinking of a 3/4 finish and knew there was nothing ahead (Brawn said as much again) so his job was to bring the car home and not risk anything by doing something stupid and starting a race. It's what was being asked of Vettel, a 3 time world champion and even the likes of Schumacher had to hold position behind his team mate for the benefit of Ferrari at the height of his career whilst fighting for the drivers championship towards the back end of the season. In hindsight Vettels tyres lasted and Rosbergs fuel may have resulted in a 3rd place finish but that's not the point.
Just calling Rosberg a donkey for not doing something he should have done then poking fun at Vettel for actually doing it, seems a bit biased, along with blaming Hamilton for his fuel load when that's clearly a team mistake.
Someone has to be a Vettel fan on here ?, they seem to be hiding. Worse than Chelsea fans.

I respect Vettel, he is clearly a good driver, I just don't like him...I can see right through his BS. And as for being biased ... it's not that, I really thought rosberg was not in the same boat as Hami hence the "wtfLUL@Mercedes".

Could be me being biased then

, I find myself defending Hamilton more often than not and I think you have a point, I mean I think it'll be nieve of Rosberg to think himself as 'equal' after the lengths Merc went trying to secure Hamiltons signature.
And aye agreed with Vettel, I'm trying to think of another driver that went against team orders ?, any takers ? (crashing into someone for the title doesn't count )

lol, excellent picture.
but really, I'd like to remind rosberg: the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
Sure Mercedes likes their new toy very much, but Rosberg needs to get in there at some point. I was more ok with him taking the second seat to Michael, I mean after all, Michael is a living legend and respect where respect is due... But I feel like, with Hami, Rosberg needs to assume a more dominant position than he is right now, becausehe has just as much opportunity as his teammate to have a great future in the sport.

don't get me wrong, I think given the situation, Rosberg did exactly what he needed to do. He spoke up, showed that fire, but then his cool head prevailed for the better of the team. I like his personality and would like to see him do well, and show that you don't have to give up dignity and be a selfish cunt to make it in this world. Same goes for Webber, that's a stand up guy..
