I'm not suggesting a kid is going to learn advance calculus from a cartoon. I was suggesting its educational in comparison to retards in costumes dancing around non stop. Or pure slapstick like Spongebob. No one is sitting their kids down in front of a tv to replace actual learning.

my lady in kindergarden reads grade 2 level no shit i can post a vid if you dont trust a bro

both my kids read well very early but my lady is exceptionaly awesome, she read befor she talked ey with a soother in her mouth

Yeah you're right. I was still talking about 2-3yr olds. Preschoolers wasn't the right word, I was thinking toddlers. I think your suggestions are fine for preschoolers just not the age range Geoff was asking about. At those ages they're learning colors, patterns letters and numbers.

That's great about your daughter, I have two girls in school now and the boy is starting this year. Girls are definitely ahead of the learning curve at younger ages.
