Ampera: 25-50 miles
Focus: 76 miles

Those aren't even close. None of those cars would be able to make a trip home for the holidays within the same state, let alone taking a longer road trip. My fiancee and I did 262 miles round trip for Thanksgiving dinner with her family and my family is 100 miles round trip.

My bad the Focus and the Vauxhall were hybrids, easily confused, the leaf was just cheap anyway. I thought the mileage was around 120 but seen that overcharge (which cant be done often) boosts this (lets say 120-160?) to 262. Probaly why the others use engines.

If you can't keep up maybe you should wash some dishes :D

I will be fair and say I am actually surprised by that range n all, granted it doesn't translate to that unless you over charge every night but even if you get 160 on a standard charge/week that is still impressive. You know they just added more batteries instead of an engine tho, right ? ;)

Battery storage is completely shite tho and always has been, it counter acts any climate freak n all especially if you're charging every night to compensate for the loss of charge.

Oh yeah, so suddenly the leaf's dismissible as not important. What's that leave on your table then? Oh wait, it's empty.

Dude, I'm the bi-polar opposite. Anyone gets insulted for bashing things that's accepted as being healthy for the environment, it's a bit like a Religion. I was getting called a pleb before I even got in my groove.

Looks like it was defeated
Earlier today, the Ohio House of Representatives Committee on Transportation, Public Safety and Homeland Security voted out Senate Bill 137 without the anti-Tesla amendment attached to it. We would like to thank all our customers and supporters who took the time to contact their local representatives and express their views on the matter. Your help was crucial to stopping this amendment! Tesla looks forward to continued investment in the state and serving our customers in Ohio, including at our new stores opening in Columbus and Cincinnati this month.
