7.9 doesn't look too bad

ah, I was about to say, check on other shows you like and see what score they got... too lazy to look for the top 250 list, any link?

half the hype is because it's subtitled. it's completely humourless, the central character's entire schtick is that she's a woman acting like a man and wears the same sweater every day, and plot turns are often highly implausible

it was however amusing to say 'Trrrooooels Hartmaaahn' and get a smirk of recognition from other people who'd watched it

lol you mean to tell me that NOBODY is watching The Walking Dead anymore? I mean, how are audiences going to get their weekly dose of bad actors unable to shoot accurately at anything except zombies and bad actors crashing cars because they utterly and completely refuse to pay attention to the road during a zombie apocalypse? The kind of show that MUST have idiot characters for any sense of drama?

Nobody is watching? What a shock. lol

I tried watching this. My verdict was that it's a super boring version of "OZ" for women. One woman disrespected another and I kept waiting for the scene where she gets shanked in a back room but instead they just worked out their differences by talking :dork:

heh, I had the walking dead on hold because I was, as Donny puts it, smashing through Breaking Bad as well. It is my intention to watch season 4 but in all honesty, I don't feel much excitement for it. It's just that I did enjoy the first 3 seasons to some extent and I prefer not miss out on it.

House of Cards is high on my To Watch list now.

I hate Walking Dead. After everyone trying to convince me that it's great I picked it up in season 1, 2 and 3 to try and force myself to enjoy it.

Just thought it was poor plot with shitty characters and no development. Kinda what I expected and not really surprised that a Zombie series couldn't work, find it surprising how many people like it tho. It's an infuriating show.

But then again I hate TV, apparently :)

Yeah I have friends that love it and I've seen a few with them just cause I was over there. To me it seemed like they had a pretty standard routine of Action in the beginning, 35 minutes of boring and 5 minutes of action at the end. All with characters that I didn't give a shit about and were really unrelateable. Some of the actors sucks too, some were good.

Who introduced you to Firefly ?, HMMMM ?

It's Star Trek, it comes with plot filler. Can't remember 3 out of the 4 series of Enterprise ?. Don't bother with Voyager either en ;) . I think Captain Proton will twist your little jimmies.

Watch Season 1 / 2 of BSG tho, or just the pilot. It's quality.

I tried an episode of this to soothe my scifi craving but alas, i rate it as some of the worst in the genre to ever hit the TV screen.

You know not good sci-fi after selling me DS9. With the exception of Garak, who is fucking awsome all of the time, most of it was dribbly wank.

"Oh look we travelled 638963982639 light years in a clapped-out, garage-built 'Ancient Bajoran' space-ship with fucking sails and crank handles, because of a random 'subspace eddie' anomaly and made it to Cardassian space. That must be how the 'Ancient Bajorans' did it!" And then Ducat exclaims they'd just found the evidence of the original vessel's achievement AND THAT'S THE BIG COINCIDENCE :tard:
DS9 starts off like a soap in space, but once they introduce the Dominion and the Jem'Hadar, things start to become really cool, including massive space ship battles.

Memphis wrote:Yeah, that's what I got told. Does it fuck. There are some excellent episodes and I love a lot of the humour courtesy of Quark and Odo interactions, sometimes Bashir, always Garak (best character ever) and of course Mr Worf, but the pacing continously stopping and starting makes the wetter episodes a grind to get through. Ducat was good until he went full-blown comic book and jesus that ending was abysmal. Truly arse backwards awful. And I put up with how many cheese-stuffed vomit inducing Sisko and Son eps and 7 seasons of Kai GodIJustWantToStabHerInTheMouth-Wynn for that spam-handed wrap-up. She took way, way, way, way too long to get canned and got far too much screen-time for a character that served little other purpose than to be irritating as fuck. And I dunno what it is, but there's something about Avery Brooks that makes me suspicious that he's actually a bit of a twat.
I still fantasize about some Kira Nerys and Jadzia Dax one-on-one action, namsayn?

DS9 sucked balls, had the dumbest ending ever and Avery Brooks wouldn't smoke a joint with me when I asked him.

And the "Sisko and Son" stuff between the actors is real...those two are really sappy when they're in the same room. Probably some anal going on.
