Well you could remove your head from your arse and see things from my perspective :]

What Man of Steel just done has been done better with some of the scenes being silly as fuck, this film was anything but serious, it was a rip off of whats already been done wether it was in superman, superman 2 or the Avengers, even Star Trek. It's another one of those films that's following the same patterns and scraping by on its aesthetics. Superman Returns tried being serious and look where that got it.

Besides, Transformers automatically wins by cutting out the Religious undertones.

I thought it was average. No matter cos all I'm saying is this is a similar brand of garbage, you gotta be consistent.

If I wanted to treat both films seriously then I would be forced to pull both apart. Starting at the 1st scene with Superman when 1 minute he's saving Krypton and the next he's saving Earth.

Transformers was actually more fun n all , death and destruction wasn't raining all over the place. You need humour for these films and if you treat them seriously I have no idea how you enjoy them.

Anyone who enjoys this type of crap deserves to choke on the shit-burger they should be eating.

If it was Star Trek I might've said the same

just read - not on The Onion - that they're fast-tracking a sequel for this and calling it "Man of Steel 2 - Steel Harder"
that right there explains why i'm not watching this movie.

The fact that it's a superhero movie explains why i'm not watching this movie.

it was in Entertainment Weekly, but that could well be a production title.
