The whole irony of the situation is that for years, Apple fanboys have been acting like they're the top dog kings and Android is for losers but now that Apple is releasing a new product which is significantly inferior to the top end Android products that have already been released months ago, suddenly caring about mobile phones (specs) is childish and immature.

The main issue is the lack of initavtion within Apple at the moment. Smart phones were around for years before the iPhone in various guises, but the iPhone was just streets ahead on terms of userbility and technology. It was so far ahead of its rivals that it took maybe 4 years for rivals to come up with something that at least came close to matching it. And I genuinely believe that was down to Steve Jobs and his relentless quest to make things easy to use and desirable. His whole ethos demanded that Apple products innovated and demolished what had come before. This way of working seems to have been lost now and it's all about milking the name

I think the watch looks pretty sexy. Not sure how useful it actually is, but somewhere somehow i kinda find myself wanting one.
Too bad it'll only work with that phone

I still don't get the whole watch hype. What use is it? Does it really offer any benefits other than not having to take your phone from your pocket to read what's on the display? Seems a little "first-world" for a $350 device.

It's another step forward in the happy marriage between our physical selves and our technology, soon it'll be completely normal to go around carrying all kinds of hardware. New information centered jobs shall emerge, where formally unemployed & socially akward people stand around on corners filming whateverthefuck they see and scanning numberplates of cars that drive by and uploading all of that information on the off chance someone might pay for it. And lo, the economy shall be saved and all shall rejoice, amen.

"A recent report from Adobe shows use of 4-inch and smaller mobile devices dropping in the double digits while larger device use continues to skyrocket."
