Aircontrol is very similar to CPMA. Triple jumping is awesome.
Weapons are slightly different. Starter weapon is a projectile based shotgun (it has traveltime), and the plasmagun is hitscan (not travel time). Stake gun hasn't made it into the build yet, but it looks amazing so far, and there's plans for grappling hook.
The map editor is pretty damn fun. You can edit the map while people are playing on it. (Bribing for quad damage anyone?)
All in all, it's a very fun game that I hope will reach its goal.

Big old goal...fingers crossed it happens but I'm expecting it to hit 150k at most

I think it stands a good chance of keeping a healthy playerbase. Due to the CPMA/QW playerbase being so interested, and the recent changes to QL, a lot of people will migrate to this when it hits open beta.
