Apparently there was an Earthquake here yesterday that shook Tokyo. I was hiking down in Kamakura, and only thought it was a couple rumbles of thunder...

xer0s, if you're in Tokyo you should try and book a table at Sushi Saito, it's the best sushi restaurant in the world. Expensive, but worth splashing out for.

I'm in Kyoto right now. Enjoying some saké on the Kamo-Gawa River. But we'll be heading back to Tokyo on Saturday for our last leg of the trip. I'll see if we can get reservations...

Uh no... Don't listen to this dipshit... France, usa and even that shithole London have better sushi...but if u must I would go to Sukiyabashi Jiro... Price point is higher than that poor ppl place sys0p mentioned but it's much better... Good luck getting a reservation... :olo: ...

Hmmm, Jiro is a bit of a tourist trap, really. It's not in any of the top ten as voted by actual Japanese food critics. Likely you just watched Jiro Dreams Of Sushi on Netflix. In fact, that's absolutely what happened.
