All I'ma say is if youre maxing out last light and DOOM is crippling you, somethings fucked.
Last Light is the only game to make my card get toasty.

What kind of moron would play this game on support ultra settings with sub 60fps? At least in multiplayer, u play at low settings no matter what unless ur a moron...

My 4GB 770s had no problems with Doom on ultra 1440p. A 2GB video card isn't enough for modern games and the idiot didn't even specify what resolution he was using. Doom is probably one of the most optimized games released in years in terms of performance.

I have a 2GB 960 and have no problems running anything. Albeit at 1080, but still maxed out.

Not true, DOOM is a very good game and didn't come anywhere near crippling my pc. Same with Wolfenstein.

It will also use Vulkan / DX12 which on the face of things, has a shitty support from nVidia.

Quake Champions is targeting 120fps though. So even if you get only half that performance, you've still got a 60fps experience.
