I was working in the air force on maintainance on ground to air defence cannon. L70 40mm
Should ahve been working on firling also (4x.50cal like you saw in Waterworld firing at that watervillage thing), but it's out of commision so no go. Not very fun service work wice, but lots of great people and fun off duty =) It's mandatory in Norway for men after they've become 18 to have one year of inital service which is why I was in, only I choose the wrong service =)

We've got general conscription in Norway, so all men within a certain age might be drafted and put to any old service the military defence sees fit. At least that's how it was when I did my year of service, I applied for the cavalry and they stuck me in the infantry.
