If you're one of those nerds who has e-mail notification turned on, you can download one of the pop e-mail checkers and perhaps get a mod to change your e-mail to quake3replies@yourdomain.com?

i found quite a few uses. mulitple RSS feeds, weather updater, etc. yes, i had those in FF, but now i can just look at the desktop without having to open up FF. maybe i'll be bored with this in a week, who knows, but it's a bit nifty atm.

I simply put them all in konspose. One touch off the button and they're there and another and they're gone. No cluttering

I'm not, nor was I really serious about making a widget to do so. I was just contemplating whether there was anything useful I'd want a widget to do, and nothing seemed worth the effort of learning how to make one.
