Awesome shot DB. Where is that and where were you when you took it? Another building?
I need to get back to taking pictures for fun now and then. Things have moved fast enough that I don't do that much anymore - I've only gone out shooting for the hell of it once this summer, as opposed to almost every day last summer. Had 3 weddings in the last 4 weeks, then two weddings this weekend, one wedding the weekend after, and then only one more for the summer and am not taking any more until next summer. Burning me out editing and processing thousands and thousands of images.

@ seremtan
Really? i don't think there's anything wrong with the sharpening, it's the same settings i've been using on the 5D since i've had it.
That's the view from floor 27 of the southern century towers hotel Shinjuku, Tokyo. 100% mental place, I couldn't get over the scale of the city. I mean it literally stretches as for as the eye can see.
Different image but full size.

Hmm, i don't understand what makes this a "great" picture. To me it's just an every-day cityview.

I love most of your shots, but I dont get this one. Maybe I just don't understand the complexity behind it.

that's fair enough. the image doesn't really capture the amazing amount of detail there was.

I know your camera fucked up, but perhaps try using HDR on that one, not to get the stupid glowy effects attributed to most HDR shots, but to boost the exposure of the trees. The grainy black smear isn't nice to look at compared to everything else.

I was looking for the most epically bad senior portrait studio in my city - I think I found them:
