Nice, that's a great little lens - especially on a crop body where it gives you an 80mm lens you can go to 1.8 on. Mine was a touch soft at F1.8, but still very usable. Very sharp at F2.8 and above. For under $100 you can beat it.

DEFINITELY liking it so far. This one was taken at 1.8f, still pretty sharp from what I can see

Photo from Ankor Wat in Cambodia. I'm playing around with the post production of this photo (photo taken by my brother). Thoughts?

Colour testing:

I was inspired by portraits by
Dan Winters. He has a lot of really nice celebrity portraits, but I don't think I'm quite pulling off the same effect:

Not a photo (I rarely have time for photography anymore, though I did buy a Lumix LX3 for casual shooting when i'm out and about) but I finished this today:
Gonna be around A2 in size, lithographic print on silk paper, as soon as I can source the good stuff. In fact, does anyone know any good UK printers who can do this? I only need 1, as it's gonna be given away with one of the releases as a special gift.

i agree, but people often take offence to that kind of thing, even when it's innocent.
My sister took pictures of her 3 year old daughter on the beach who happened to be naked and the photolab refused to develop the photos

.
