i'm hooked on road riding, still enjoy the MTB but that means driving miles to get to a good trail that's not for pussies.
it's a carbon/alloy mix designed for sprint and descents. not the lightest of frames, however i'm eyeing up a 2010 pro machine frame set for next summer.

For weddings I almost always have the 24-70 F2.8L on one of the cameras just for an all around lens - I use that a lot for portraits too. I use my 85mm F1.8 a lot for senior portraits. I also have a 70-200 F4L, a 100-400L, a cheap, but effective, little Tokina 12-24, and a Canon 100mm macro.

Second shot at a wedding this weekend and used it almost exclusively - it's really nice to get that little bit of extra width the full frame sensor gives when using a 24-70mm lens. I'll post some pictures when I have a chance to do a bit of personal shooting.

I like that... in your head you can make it look like the surface of a planet or, just a leaf

Does it take video as well?

The flower is a really tiny one, you can see the pollen as little white orbs clinging onto the petals. Unfortunately the flower was already starting to wilt so there are some ugly dark spots where it folded. The only way I could get it to flatten out was to paste it onto a piece of wet glass, spreading it out with tweezers. I think I'm going to print a poster sized one of the maple seed.

Yea, it does video - inolen uses them for their bike videos I believe. The video feels a bit tacked on as this camera is a bit dated now - but it's capable of producing amazing image quality with video. They shot the final episode of House last season with 5D Mark II's.

The features are great as long as you have the latest firmware. I don't really notice anything much more amazing from my 7d, aside from the ability to shoot 60p (but I haven't used it much).
The bottom line is that the cameras are just cumbersome in general to use for video, stability is a pita.
