I'm building a Synagogue. Then a mosque on Yeahso's street with a minecart full of brown people that pulls up 10 times a day.

yup, that sounds about right. with some seemingly endless caverns. I feel like I'm on the island on Lost wondering why someone would build this and nothing else then figuring out it's just a trail that goes nowhere...

I liked playing on the server back when we had the cheats on, it was like playing with Lego and just building stuff.
But with just survival mode, I think it needs to be a bit more challenging, once you've built yourself a little enclosed space with a farm and some basic resources, it gets boring rather quick. I'm hoping they'll add something to give it a bit more of a challenge so people can try to work together to maintain our defenses against various enemies.
Maybe if the enemies were smart enough to break down walls and if you had better weapons to defend yourself with, it would be a game of playing siege at nightfall, shooting monsters, patching walls, setting traps.

I'm hoping for some cooperative features too. But I'd like to see tycoon gameplay where you can cooperate on your own time and pace, with lots of automation. Like someone builds a factory and it produces iron widgets that can be sold on a market. The factory is connected to mine ores and resources are transported by rail by minecarts that go back and forth automatically.
Maybe you could corral spiders and zombies and train them into your evil army (and outfit them with iron weapon widgets created with your factory) that attacks other players too.
Yeah...

Yeah ok... you win.
On a side note, maybe we should start a PVP server of somekind? We could each have a specific item and the "game" would be for each person to hide their item if anyone finds it then you lose. People could create traps in their castles to hide it etc... The item could be like a sign with your name and secret phrase. screenshot posted here proves it's been found then you're eliminated or even better, work for the guy that found your item until one team wins.

how much of that hole was TNT? i'm impressed with the torch placement (gives the cavern a vaguely bladerunnish bibe with distance fog) and the level floor without the use of cobble
