I think the article is kicking in open doors and pretends there's a valid discussion about deciding between Google's way and Apple's way. It's not as black and white as that and therefor the problem isn't as big. Yes, there should be some form of moderation in the Android market but that doesn't mean it should be treated like Apple treats their app store.

I am surprised that Google mentions nudity and sexuality in it's terms of service, since the whole market is infested with themes with nude women.
