Religulous

Quite good, Bill Maher's a funnier guy than I gave him credit for.
Noone who's really into religion is going to watch this, so he's pretty much preaching to the choir, but still.

Religulous = 7/10 - As expected but some truly funny parts.

The Adventures of Pluto Nash = 1/10 - lol...what a piece of shit. It cost $100 million to make...bigger lol. I guess all those shipping crates they made the sets out of weren't a package deal....cause they didn't spend more than 10 bucks on the CGI.

Passengers = 6/10 - It's ok but mostly meh.

Gran Torino- 6/10 Not that this movie doesn't have its moments, but it is quite uneven. Some of the acting is crap and the script has some problems.

It does however have a perfect scene, a kid, Clint and a barber, in a barber shop. It alone makes the movie worth seeing.

The Great Debaters - 8/10

Usually not a fan of Denzel movies, but this was worth watching.

Changeling - 9/10

Bit long, but still enjoyable. Next up: Gran Torino.

PS. I can't wait for this to come out.

Curious Case of Benjamin Button - 8/10
amazingly well made: music, cinematography, makeup + costumes + special effects, acting are all top notch.
it has pacing issues at the beginning where they spend far too much time showcasing how super fantastic they are at making Brad Pitt look old as time. after the movie gets going its pretty good, just very sad.

Watched Brick again. 10/10, I love that fucking movie.

Watched King of Kong. Interesting, at least. Your appreciation will obviously vary depending on how much you like random ugly people talking about video games. Oh... never mind...

I love all of the niche documentaries that have been pouring out the last few years. Even when they're of questionable quality, they still manage to be rewarding.

The World's Fastest Indian

Made in 2005 ~ The life story of New Zealander Burt Munro, who spent years building a 1920 Indian motorcycle -- a bike which helped him set the land-speed world record at Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats in 1967.

Amazingly some records still stand today.

A great movie and worth your time if you get a chance

Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story

Meh, John C. Reilly does a decent job, but this has all been done better in things like Spinal Tap and Almost Famous.
Has its hilarious moments, but also leans heavily on repetitive, juvenile jokes (cox => cocks, lol, etc.)
