A lot of Koreans play on other servers because the cheating is super rampant in South Korea. PC bangs are given unlimited CD keys for various games, and patrons can just create new accounts over and over. So Blizzard bans them for using aimbots, then they recreate an account in the time it takes for the next match to start. :/

Whatever the reason there's no excuse to not have region locks.
Team Korea strikes again losing their absolute shit because I chose widowmaker on Kings Row defense. I'm getting picks on ana/mercy/soldier and the rest of my team, a korean group, is raging at me telling me in broken English to swap because I suck. They blame the round loss on me in /match and the opposing team starts defending me saying I was the biggest issue for them because I kept taking out the supports every time they popped the corner.
Next round, on attack, Korea instant locks widow to keep me off her and start trolling with hanzo and bastion. So I go sombra only to have the zarya on Team Korea keep putting a bubble on me any time I stealthed to flank.
Lost the match, obviously.

GG Korea

The Chinese are just as bad, good luck if you have one on your team because they won't communicate and will play Genji/Hanzo regardless of anything.

Wow thats quite impressive

Eraser - what comp level are you? After an initial shit start and a lack of play, I am nearly at 1700 if you fancied doing some comp matches?

I was at 1690 but dropped down to just above 1600. For some reason the two matches I did win only netted me 10 CP each or so, while each loss set me back 25 or more points.

Yeah I have noticed this myself...

Anyhoo - let me know when you want to comp; we can rip it up

1080p for me is enough until i start upgrading. That said the 1080 cards out no just aren't selling as well as the manufacturers thought they would so there's some good prices knocking about.

Overwatch system requirements are relatively low. I play it on an ATI Radeon M card in my laptop. Granted, all gfx settings are low but it sticks to a good enough frame rate to play well. So you don't need a beast of a PC for it.

I fond it weird now how the CPU has taken a back seat to the GPU. i'm told by a few people the i7 is a waste of money unless you need to mine shit and even then the GPU is the work horse.

was chatting to the man from PNY a few weeks back and going over the Quadra cards.

i7 is great if you do any video rendering, gaming's just a bonus with it. I also find they overclock better :ninja:

GPU being more important than CPU is true. A modern GPU does so much that a lot of the heavy CPU work is actually delegated to the GPU.

It just gets worse. I wish the group I play with actually played more than once a week.

I play with all settings at max on a 1070 and I get a constant 90 FPS. My G-Sync monitor is icing on the cake.
