Not at all, I might go and see it since it's still in cinemas here and I'm still getting free tickets
I just find it amazing that a halfway decent film would pick an identical name to an already established one.
Murrrrrrrrrr

Were you expecting Citizen Kane?
No, but the predictability was particularly astonishing.
I find that to be the case with most films these days. Chow Yun Fat, along with Mira Sorvino's body are the highlights of the film.

Not seeing it's not quite the same as writing it off, last I checked. So I'll raise you a MAAAARP.

"The brother's grim" is pretty average. The less english you speak, the better it is.

The move was by far one of the best movies I have seen this year. This movie rocked. Another kick ass film from "Lions Gate"
A 36-hour period in the diverse metropolis of post-Sept. 11 Los Angeles is the theme of this unflinching drama that challenges audiences to confront their prejudices. Lives combust when a Brentwood housewife and her district attorney husband, a Persian shopkeeper, two cops, a pair of carjackers and a Korean couple all converge.
Director Paul Haggis's gritty film stars Sandra Bullock, Brendan Fraser, Don Cheadle, Matt Dillon and Jennifer Esposito.
Cast: Sandra Bullock, Don Cheadle, Matt Dillon, Jennifer Esposito, William Fichtner, Brendan Fraser, Terrence Howard, Christopher Bridges, Thandie Newton, Ryan Phillippe, Larenz Tate, Tony Danza
Just saw this movie and I must say it was very good, very good indeed.

What Lies Beneath: 5/10. The only thing that I wants to 'lie beneath' is Michelle Pfeiffer's perfect ass. She's still fuckin' hot for a 65 yr old or whatever.

Just watched Crash. 9.5/10, completely engrossing, complex story, very well done film. I found myself wanting to hate everyone in the movie, because they're almost all assholes initially. Then the characters start to develop, and it's not that simple...
P.S. EVERYONE IS A FUCKING RACIST IN THIS MOVIE. THERE WAS EVEN A DOG IN ONE SCENE THAT CALLED A BLACK CAT A NIGGER.

I liked Pitch Black, and I saw this animated scene recently (same artist as the Aeon Flux cartoons), which totally made me want to see the sequel.
I have to say that, for action, this flick completely kicks ass. I can't stand Vin Diesel in anything else he's ever done, but he plays a great badass in these. The breaking out of prison scene, all the fights to the end were good.
However, it's nothing but a good action flick - I give it a 7/10.

The abominable Dr. Phibes - 7/10
Kill Bill 1 and 2 - watched them for the 2nd time and I liked them even more now. The end was a bit weak so 9.5/10

I watched it last night and really didn't enjoy it. It's OK to watch once, but not a movie I would see ever again.

7.5/10
pretty good movie. Kind of bored with that tired-ass gun crontrol theme but otherwise had a good flow with interesting characters.

yawn one or two great scenes, but IMO it could have been condensed and crammed into the original story
